The NSW Division has experienced rapid growth making it the fastest growing Division in the Association with high member activity in regional areas such as the Hunter Region, Wollongong and Orange. This has come about as massage therapists in NSW and the ACT are alerted to the exciting future the AAMT offers to its members. The focus of AAMT NSW/ACT Division is to keep therapists informed about the AAMT in Australia and offering opportunities for professional education and networking. These events are also an opportunity for massage practitioners to raise questions and put forward ideas in relation to services currently on offer. The New South Wales/ Australian Capital Territory Committee is a dedicated group of practitioners from a range of backgrounds and modalities with a commitment to serve members and provide educational events that can be readily accessed. NSW is the 'sleeping giant' of our profession in Australia and the AAMT is expecting a continued positive response from NSW massage therapists about the existence of a strong, National representative body.
