Qualifications & Transfer
The AAMT designation of Remedial Massage Therapist is conferred upon an individual holding one of the following qualifications as defined in the National Training Package:-
Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50302 or HLT50307
Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) 21920(VIC) or 21511(VIC)
Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy)
The AAMT designation of Massage Therapist is conferred upon an individual holding:-
Certificate IV in Massage Therapies Practice HLT40302 or HLT40307
AAMT Associate Membership is available to students who are currently studying one of the courses above. Students applying for this level of membership are required to provide proof of enrolment with application.
Transferring from another Association
If an individual wishes to transfer from another Association that recognises massage therapists, to become a member of AAMT please contact AAMT National Office on 1300 138 872.
