3 October 2013
Malcolm Calcutt, Perth AAMT Ambassador presented awards on behalf of AAMT at Paramount College graduation.
"The evening was Friday the 13th, and the weather lived up to its potential. Luckily the rain abated long enough for me to make the front door!
Jacqui (the organiser for the evening) warmly met me and seated me with the college lecturers, and spent most of the evening happily talking with them. As a consequence, one of their lecturers may join our Association. The graduation ceremony was for Massage and their Bachelor courses. There were around fifty people all up for the evening with students, lecturers, family and friends.
I was invited to the stage to present two special awards on behalf of our Association and it was positive to be there representing the Association and getting to know new people. I have put my name forward to attend next year".
Amy Galante was the recipient of the "Excellence in Clinical Practice Massage (Albany)" award.
Rachel Hopkins received the "Excellence in Massage" award.
Congratulations to Amy and Rachel.
